I cannot stress enough how wonderful of a studio this is. Everyone I've met and took classes with has been phenomenal!
I started at this studio as a beginner, who didn't really know what was going on or what any of the poses were called, and I never felt unwelcome in... classes. I love the variety of classes, instructors and time slots. Months later, I still don't always know if I'm doing a pose correctly, but the instructors are always accommodating and instructive. I've also found my "sitting at a desk all day" shoulder and neck pain has really decreased. Huzzah!read more
This is hands down the best yoga studio in Kingston (perhaps the best I have ever been to). All of the staff are so lovely, the instructors are... knowledgable, kind, and ready to meet every student where they are at. The space itself is beautiful as well!! I love this studio. The selections of classes offered is great and the time spots they have accommodates all kinds of schedule. The studio is... beautiful and the cork flooring is a nice touch. I love that they have mat preset - not only it keeps people spaced equally, it provides extra cushioning. Morro is definitely my favorite studio in town!read more
I recently moved to Kingston and find Morro Yoga by far the best studio in the city. Very professional and warm environment. Every instructor is... very well versed in their style of yoga and their delivery is well thought out, perfectly paced and yields results. The diverse range of classes and instructors means there is something for everyone's needs! The attention to detail in the design and atmosphere of the studio is superb. I am mostly impressed with their commitment and dedication to their customers from a warm inviting welcome to follow up post class asking for feedback and just checking in with your experience! Of course I may appear bias but I was a student practicing in this very space before I taught and before I moved into any ownership. It is so... spacious, with lots of natural light from the large windows throughout. Clean, industrial style deco with a touch of warmth and all of it’s special touches and treats. This yoga studio has been my favourite since the day they opened. The space itself is bright, joyful, full of plants and natural sunlight. The... teachers are fantastic, each one I’ve met has a unique way of teaching and guiding you into ‘the zone’ during practice.
