Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have an intro offer?

We have two! Our introductory specials are either 7 days for $50 + HST or 2 classes for $30 + HST (2 month expiry). Newcomers only.

Can my friend and I share a class card?
Yes again! All class packs are shareable among friends.
How do I reserve a spot in class?
Pre-registration is strongly suggested. Classes do fill up, so reserve your spot on the website or by using the app. You can check yourself into class on your app when you are close enough to the studio with our geo-check in feature.
Is it hot yoga?
Sure is. We also offer some non-heated classes. Be sure to check the class description, it will tell you all you need to know.
Do you offer discounts for students, military & healthcare workers?

We do! Simply email info@morroyoga.com with your proof of employment/identification and access 20% off our monthly memberships and 10 class cards.

Do studio members get special benefits?

Yes! As a mōrro yoga studio member you will have access to discounted rates for mōrro retreats, studio retail, and access to guest passses.

What should I bring to class?

We are a full sevice studio, which means you can show up as you are and we will take care of the rest. Yoga mats are provided and yoga mat towels are available for rent or purchase. Please note that mat towels are mandatory and if you prefer, you may bring your own. We provide complimentary filtered water on tap, and we sell water in studio as well.

No need to bring a lock; our lockers allow you to set your own unique code every visit. We also have showers (with eco-conscious soap, hair bands and hair dryers) for after class.

What should I wear to class?
Lightweight, breathable clothing that gives you freedom to move. Shorts, leggings, tank tops, t-shirts all work. Basically, whatever you are most comfortable sweating in.
What should I eat before class?
Come to your mat hydrated. Avoid eating a meal for a few hours before. If you must eat, a piece of fruit is a good pre-class snack. Avoiding a lot of caffeine and caffeinated beverages before class is ideal. We have coconut water and electrolytes to boost to your in-class water situation, and our filtered water station is always open for a water bottle refill.
Why is it so peaceful in the studio?
That is because our yoga room and our changerooms are proudly cell phone free! Our studio is a place for people to disconnect from their busy lives and enjoy peace and quiet.
Anything else I should know?

Here are some pieces of etiquette that will help make your studio mōrro experience most enjoyable:

  • Please remove your shoes and store them on the shoe shelf as you enter.
  • Sign in at the front desk before proceeding to the changing rooms.
  • Please respect the silence in the yoga room at all times. This is our chance to relax and take a break from our busy schedules.
  • Be scent-free: no perfumes, colognes, or fragrances.
  • Please leave bags and personal belonging in changing areas or lockers.
  • Please leave the practice room as quietly and slowly as possible once you are ready to leave. Try to not disrupt the other students staying for a long Savasana.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class. Late comers cannot be permitted.

Membership Terms

All membership contracts are billed on a monthly recurring basis.

You may cancel your next month’s membership at any time after the commitment fulfillment.

To cancel your membership, email info@morroyoga.com at least 7 days prior to the expiration of your current month and we will cancel your auto renewing membership.

Registration Policy

We never want you to miss your favourite yoga class. The only way to guarantee your spot in class ahead of time is to register online.

As long as you arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins, you are 100% guaranteed a spot if you have registered online. After the 10 minute mark, we may open your spot away to a student on standby. Even with an online registration, you must still check in with us at the desk before you go to the change room. We promise not to start class without you!

Cancellation Policy

If you have registered for class but then life happened and you can no longer make it. Here is what to do to avoid No Show Charges:

  • Go to the studio mōrro app
  • Cancel the class you have booked yourself into
  • That’s it!

You can cancel your reservation with no penalty up to 6 hours before class starts (2 hours if you are on a recurring monthly membership), though we ask that you cancel as soon as you can, so your spot can be given to someone else. If you cancel less than 6 hours before class (2 hours if you are on a recurring monthly membership), it is considered a Late Cancel, and your account will be charged for the class. If you do not cancel at all, it is considered a No Show and your account will be charged for the class + $20 fee.

Of course, we know that things are not always in your control, as we will always err on the side of understanding, so if something comes up and you are unable to cancel, please let us know by emailing us! We cannot guarantee we will receive your e-mail before the start of class, but will always do our best to accommodate extenuating circumstances.

*We do not take cancellations via email, social media or over the phone.

Waitlist Policy

If online registration is full for a class, you can (and should) put yourself on the waitlist in hopes of getting on your mat. It really works! If someone cancels their reservation, the first person on the waitlist will get bumped into class, and the second person on the waitlist moves into the new spot. You will be notified via email if you get bumped from the waitlist to the class, so keep an eye on your inbox.

*It is assumed that by being on the waitlist, you will be able to take the class if you get in. If you no longer wish to take class, please remember to remove yourself from the waitlist. If you fail to remove yourself and are added to the class within our cancellation period, it will be a late cancel and you will forfeit the class. If you do not get off the waitlist, the class will be credited to your account for future use. Please note, the waitlist closes 1 hour prior to the class start time at which point you can no longer be put into the class.
