Yoga Classes – mōrro Kingston

mōrro classic

The weighted drop of the shoulders you get after a long, exasperated exhale, walking barefoot in the dirt, hand on heart, hand on belly, are what we consider off-mat Hatha practices. Standing your ground and being rooted without attachment to your beliefs is the essence of Hatha. You can expect postures to be held for much longer than flow, but not as long as yin. We recommend all beginners start here and suggest all the “pros” to revisit hatha as often as possible.

Move with breath, energy, and intention in this dynamic flow practice, rooted in vinyasa, that links postures together in seamless sequences. Flow Yoga is designed to build strength, flexibility, and focus while creating space for mindfulness and ease. With a balance of challenge and calm, each class will leave you feeling grounded, energized, and more connected to yourself.

mōrro power

An energizing, athletic-style class designed to challenge both body and mind. Power blends strength-building postures, dynamic movement, and mindful breathwork for a practice that leaves you feeling strong, focused, and empowered. Expect a faster pace, creative sequencing, and plenty of opportunities to push your edge, balanced with grounding moments of stillness to restore.

sweat + stretch

For the adventurer, who appreciates the rest stops after a long journey.  This class is well suited for those who want the best of both worlds in the case of warmth and sweat with sweet flows that are followed by cooling, peace-inducing, long holds.

rest  + restore

Think breath work, yin and restorative, tethered together to induce deep relaxation through stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system. Experience deep rest coupled with a heightened awareness of your surroundings – kinda like when you’re watching a movie and you’re half asleep…only with a lot of yoga props and a deep, deep stretch.

community class

Whether you are a rolling stone or a yogic explorer, you are welcome.  All you need to do is show up. This class is $10 to drop in.

candlelit yin

Step into the gentle glow of candlelight and let your body and mind unwind. Candlelit Yin is a slow, restorative practice that encourages deep stretches,
mindful breathing, and quiet reflection. Each pose is an invitation to surrender tension, soften into stillness, and sink into the peaceful rhythm of the evening. Leave feeling serene, grounded, and renewed from the inside out.

full body burn pilates

Ignite strength from head to toe. Full Body Burn is a dynamic mat Pilates class
designed to challenge and fatigue every major muscle group. With a mix of
grounded core work and powerful standing sequences, this practice builds
strength, endurance, and balance in equal measure. Expect intentional
movement, flowing sequences, and that satisfying muscle shake that reminds
you you’re getting stronger with every rep.

core + floor pilates

Strength starts at the centre. Core + Floor is a Pilates class rooted in the core
principles of Pilates—control, precision, breath, flow, and alignment. Every
exercise is done from the floor, allowing you to deeply connect to your
powerhouse while still working the entire body. This class builds stability, mobility,
and strength from the inside out, leaving you grounded, centred, and supported
in every movement you make

pilates flow

Move with intention, strength, and ease. Pilates Flow is a mat-based class that
links Pilates exercises together in smooth, continuous sequences. Each
movement is carefully chosen to complement and enhance your yoga flow
practice, helping you build the strength, stability, and mobility to move with
greater freedom on the mat. With an emphasis on breath, control, and mindful
transitions, this class is low-impact yet powerful—leaving you feeling centered,
energized, and deeply connected from start to finish.

pulse + power pilates

Find your rhythm, feel your strength. Pulse + Power is a low-impact mat Pilates
class taught to the beat of the music, with each track guiding you through a single
movement pattern. Through repetition and control, you’ll build deep strength,
endurance, and focus—without impact on the joints. This class is steady,
powerful, and leaves you feeling strong, centred, and in sync with your body.

release

Move, sweat, and let go. Release is an energizing movement experience that
blends Pilates strength, yoga flow, cardio bursts, and breathwork—all set to the
rhythm of the music. This medium-to-high impact class is designed to free
tension, elevate your energy, and reconnect you with your body’s natural rhythm. Expect dynamic sequences that build heat, mindful moments that ground you, and a collective vibe that leaves you feeling lighter, stronger, and more alive.

calm + core

A soothing, core-focused Pilates class that blends slow, mindful movement with grounding breathwork. Strengthen your foundation without strain, settle your nervous system, and move in a way that feels steady, spacious, and deeply supportive

I have been loving my experience at Morro Yoga! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the equipment is clean and versatile. I have been participating weekly in the hot mat pilates classes, and feel that I am becoming stronger each time. I highly recommend this studio and I look forward to taking more classes!

I have taken 5 classes at Mōrro so far and I can honestly say I love it. The staff has been so warm and welcoming. I have left every single class smiling and excited to go back (but also very sore, in the best way possible). The studio is kept very clean and they use all the newest equipment which definitely elevates the overall experience. They also have the option to purchase class packs rather than just a membership which allows for flexibility and it’s something I prefer/benefit from with my schedule. Overall, I would highly recommend Mōrro.

I absolutely love the hot yoga and Pilates classes at Morro! The community is so welcoming, and the studio is always clean and calm. The kindness of the instructors and staff really makes a difference. Regan is an amazing instructor, any class you take with her she will be clear, and helpful. Highly recommend!

Morro is amazing! All the instructors are so kind and knowledgeable, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for everyone. The space is very clean and smells very nice. This yoga studio is fantastic! It’s very clean and has a very calm and welcoming vibe. As someone new to yoga, I've felt really comfortable thanks to the friendly and supportive staff and instructors. I started at this studio as a beginner, who didn't really know what was going on or what any of the poses were called, and I never felt unwelcome in classes. I love the variety of classes, instructors and time slots. Months later, I still don't always know if I'm doing a pose correctly, but the instructors are always accommodating and instructive. I've also found my "sitting at a desk all day" shoulder and neck pain has really decreased. Huzzah!

This is hands down the best yoga studio in Kingston (perhaps the best I have ever been to). All of the staff are so lovely, the instructors are knowledgable, kind, and ready to meet every student where they are at. The space itself is beautiful as well!! I would highly recommend this studio.

I love this studio. The selections of classes offered is great and the time spots they have accommodates all kinds of schedule. The studio is beautiful and the cork flooring is a nice touch. I love that they have mat preset - not only it keeps people spaced equally, it provides extra cushioning. Morro is definitely my favorite studio in town!

I recently moved to Kingston and find Morro Yoga by far the best studio in the city. Very professional and warm environment. Every instructor is very well versed in their style of yoga and their delivery is well thought out, perfectly paced and yields results. The diverse range of classes and instructors means there is something for everyone's needs! The attention to detail in the design and atmosphere of the studio is superb. I am mostly impressed with their commitment and dedication to their customers from a warm inviting welcome to follow up post class asking for feedback and just checking in with your experience! Fantastic. Highly recommend:)

Absolutely incredible experience.
Beautiful, contemporary and clean location.
I felt so comfortable my first class and am so excited to restart my practice and learn from the various instructors.
